Description:

The Balule Nature Reserve forms part of the Greater Kruger Park Conservancy, an open ecology covering some four million hectares and is situated on the Western boundary towards the centre of this conservancy at an average altitude of some 400 m above sea level. Balule, the original and indigenous name of the Olifants River, is host to a wide variety of fauna and flora including Africa’s ‘big five’ namely elephant, lion, buffalo, lion and leopard and Commiphora woodlands. The reserves undulating topography has created a variety of habitats. Our Indawo Trails Camp are situated in the Balule Nature Reserve.
